Hip Arthroscopy

  • Hip arthroscopy may be recommended if painful hip condition doesnot respond to non surgical treatment.
  • Hip arthroscopy may relieve painful symptoms of many problems that damage the labrum, articular cartilage or other soft tissue, surrounding the joint.
  • Although this damage can result from an injury, other orthopaedic conditions can leads to these problems includes :
    • Femoro acetabular impingement(FAI)
    • Dysplasia
    • Snapping hip Syndrone
    • Synovitis
    • Loose bodies
    • Hip joint infection

Ankle Arthroscopy

Arthroscopy can be used to diagnose and treat different discorders of the ankle joint. The list of problems that can be treated with this technology is constantly evolving and includes :

Wrist Arthroscopy

Diagnostic arthroscopy might be used if it is not clear what is causing wrist pain. It is also used if wrist pain continuous for several months despite nonsurgical treatment. Wrist arthroscopy can be used to treat a number of conditions of the wrist :

  • Wrist fractures
  • Ganglion custs
  • Ligament / TFCC tears
  • Carpal Tunnel release

Elbow Arthroscopy

Elbow arthroscopy might be done if painful elbow condition that does not respond to nonsurgical treatment.Common arthroscopic procedures includes :

  • Treatment of tennis elbow
  • Removal of loose bodies (loose cartilage or bone fragments)
  • Release of scar tissue to improve range of motion
  • Treatment of osteoarthritis
  • Treatment of rheumatoid arthritis
  • Treatment of osteochondritis dessicaus (OCD)
